PA Mom DUI At Highest Rate Drives On Wrong Side Of Road: Police

An Ephrata woman has been charged with driving under the influence after police stopped her for driving on the wrong side of the road, according to Lititz Borough police according to a release on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Megan Martin, 35, was pulled over by an officer for driving on the wrong side of the road in the 300 block of East Main Street in Lititz, around 2:23 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, police detailed in the release. Martin reportedly displayed signs of impairment and was asked to perform field sobriety tests before she was taken to the Lititz Borough Police Department, where a breath test was conducted.

Martin has been charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence and DUI at the highest rate of alcohol, as well as two summary traffic violations, according to police, according to the police.

Martin is a Myerstown native with young children, according to her social media.

She has been summoned to appear for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing in District Court.
